Questions

Before you write to us

What should I send in a first message?

The most useful first message includes: the project type (residential, commercial, etc), where the project is located, what you need rendered or visualised, the rough timeline, and any source files or reference imagery you can share at this stage. Don't worry about polish or completeness. A rough sketch and a paragraph of intent is enough to start a useful conversation. The detail gets filled in on the introductory call.

How quickly will I get a response?

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours during the working week (Mon-Fri). For enquiries that arrive over the weekend or on Indian public holidays, the response window extends to the next working day. If you have a tight deadline, mention it in the first message and we will prioritise accordingly. The principal personally reads every international enquiry.

Is the introductory call really free, or is there a catch?

Free, 30 minutes, no obligation. The call is genuinely a working conversation, not a sales pitch. We use the time to understand the project, share whether we are a good fit, and answer any questions you have about how we work. If the project isn't a fit, we will say so directly, sometimes with a suggestion of a better-suited studio. The investment for us is small and the alignment that comes out of the call saves both sides time later.

What time zones do you work across?

Production runs Mon-Fri 10:00-19:00 IST. The principal is reachable for calls Mon-Fri 12:00-22:00 IST, which gives full overlap with Australian working afternoons, UK working mornings, and US working evenings. For ongoing projects, daily handover via email or shared workspace covers the asynchronous part of the day. More detail is on the /international/ page.

Do I need to send a brief before the call, or after?

Either works. If you have a brief ready, send it ahead of the call so we can review and come prepared with questions. If you are still putting it together, the call is a good place to talk through the project and the brief can follow afterwards. Most international clients fall into the second category; the first call is often where the brief actually takes shape.

What languages do you work in?

The studio works in English by default. The principal and senior team are English-native in working communication, and all written communication, briefs, contracts, and deliverables are in English. We have also worked with clients communicating in Spanish, French, Italian, and Arabic through interpreters or bilingual project managers on the client side, but the core working language remains English.
